- Hi, I'm Susan and I'm a survivor of corporate America who started The Doggie Den dog in 1998. I love dogs! And I'll tell you, I'm eternally grateful to my canine customers for the fun they bring us every day. They are comical, playful and endlessly entertaining. Jennifer manages the dog day care section of The Doggie Den; Laurie helps supervise the daycare pups and closes the store with me; Carolyn manages our grooming salon, and our trainer, Shannon, teaches obedience training in the evening.
